However, she began to experience issues with the screen flashing after just a few days of use. She also complained to the store that the battery died after a few minutes of use even after a full charge. The tablet was returned to the store, she said, and she was given a replacement. However, similar problems occurred with the replacement device.Poorai said the second tablet was returned in its original pack aging, but the store refused to exchange it a second time. She said the store has kept the second device for repairs and she is now without a tablet and $800.She said she has been getting the run-around from the store. She reached out to the Express for help.Solution: The Express contacted the repairs manager at Mobile Expressions, who said the store could not replace the second tablet as it was out of warranty. He said, in an effort to assist the customer, the store has contacted the supplier to conduct repairs, which would take some time.He said this was explained to the customer, who agreed to this arrangement and has not made any complaint to the store since. He said the problems with both devices most likely arose from a voltage irregularity while charging, which he said was no fault of the store's, but an issue with the customer's electricity supply. He added that both tablets were returned to the store with damage, including screen scratches and impressions. He said, despite th is, the store has been making every effort to resolve the situation amicably and return the repaired tablet to the customer."We have already exchanged it once so we have shown goodwill towards the customer," he said.He assured that the store was not giving the customer the run-around, nor is it attempting to defraud her. He said the matter was still ongoing and would be resolved soon.
