Reality of virtual reality. By Joe SkrebelsNintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima has explained that the company will add VR support to its upcoming Switch console if it can resolve issues of comfort over long periods of use.
Speaking to Nikkei, Kimishima explained that the company is "studying" how to implement virtual reality, but brought up its key concern in the process:
"If we are able to resolve the issues with playing [VR] comfortably for long hours, we will support it in one form or another."

We want to hear it.VR can suffer from a number of comfort-related issues, including simulated movement nausea, eye strain and the weight of headsets.
Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto has previously revealed that Nintendo has researched VR, and has the "core technology", explaining that the company wants to release something that "can be played for long periods, carries value, and is affordable."
It even went so far as to patent a potential VR headset into which the base Switch tablet could slot.
The Switch doesn't arrive until March 3, but some are already speculating as to what future versions of the console will include - like 64GB internal storage, for instance.
